Mise En Scène

I studied film making at Temple University in Philadelphia majoring in Film & Media Arts. I took the Production track which culminated in writing and directing my own thesis film. For me specifically, it also entailed executive producing and editing my film. It was a short narrative based on true events from my childhood featuring my hard fought yet short lived teenage rebellion against my suddenly present father. When showing it to a classmate during the editing phase she began to cry and I knew I had something. Although very amateur I am very proud of that film to this day. OPEN

Lights, Camera, Action

I ended my college career with a Los Angeles Internship program where I got my hands dirty in every aspect of production I was interested in. Through the internships and subsequent gigs I got on the job training and experience in Production (Producing and AD), Post Production Grip/Electric and Camera departments. I think it’s a shame that most people have to specialize to make it big in Hollywood. I am much happier using all my skills all over the set, which you can only really do on small independent productions. I’m still working out the formula on how to make a living on indie films. I’ll let you know when I get it.

Check the Gate

I love Writing/Directing and I won’t give it up. I, like many creatives, have sleepless nights where the only remedy it to write down that idea that won’t get out of my head. Those ideas have translated to dozens of scripts of all stripes. Shorts, Features, TV, narratives, documentaries, comedies, dramas, animated you name it. There are even some good ones in there. By the way if you or someone you know works for Netflix hit me up, have I got a story for you. Also, if you work for Bradley Cooper’s company I got a great feature film script for you too. Ask Sophie, she’ll vouch for me.
